Our Cypress essential oil, Cupressus sempervirens, is imported from Spain. Cypress essential oil is used to relieve stress and is emotionally comforting, increases concentration, assists with varicose veins and circulation.
Cypress essential oil is detoxifying when used in a bath, is a good diuretic and is helpful for asthma, hay fever, coughs and bronchitis. It is very soothing when used in a steam shower or sauna. It blends well with florals and woody oils. Cypress essential oil is wonderful in home fragrance products or in masculine blends.
Cypress should not be used directly on the skin. Be sure you blend this oil with a base oil such as Olive Oil or Jojoba Oil.

Associated with death and afterlife Cypress trees were often planted in graveyards and the wood was used to make coffins. Several cultures enjoy munching on the pine nuts and include them in their everyday diet.
As with all essential oils, do not use undiluted. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children. Not for those with epilepsy or subject to seizures. Always conduct a skin patch test before using any oil on your skin.
