What is Alpaca Silver?
Alpaca silver, also called nickel silver or "German Silver", is an alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc, which does not rust or tarnish. It is often used in jewelry making due to easy maintenance. It does not contain any real silver, however it may be plated with silver.
Agate Properties
Agate is a variety of chalcedony which is a microcrystalline quartz. Agate is a more translucent microcrystalline quartz, whereas jasper is more opaque. There are many, many different types of agates in many different color combinations, and they are found all over the world. Different types are known for different appearances and/or properties.
Agate's most noticable properties overall are balancing yin/yang energy, courage, protection, healing, and calming. Historically it was placed in water for cooking or drinking to dispel sickness.
