This stone has been very difficult to aquire but I am so glad I finally found a quality source! These opals come straight from Madagascar, and will vary in size.  The picture displays the smallest stone we have in stock, all stones will be this size or larger.

Opal Properties

Girasol is actually a term that is applied to a number of different gemstones. In the case of the Opal, it refers to gems that have a blue flash (much like Rainbow Moonstone).  Opal is composed of silica and water, which gives it the illusion of water captured in stone. Girasol Opal has been used to amplify and mirror feelings, imagination, visualization, dreams and healing. It seems to help in communication by helping to voice held back thoughts. It has a very soothing energy.

Opal is absorbent and reflective, it picks up toughts and feelings, amplifies them, and returns them to the source.  I is a karmic stone and teaches us that everything you put out comes back to you.  It is also often used for stealth work within the shamanic tradition, promoting protection through invisibility. 

Emotionally Opal is associated with love and passion.  It is a seductive stone that enhances emotional states and releases inhibitions.  In healing, opal is used to strengthen your will to live.  It is sometimes used for infections, Parkinson's disease and strengthens the memory. 

Girasol or Blue opal in specific, is an emotional soother that realigns the spiritual purpose.  It resonates with the throat chakra and can enhance communication, specially that of which has been been supressed due to lack of self-confidence.  It is useful when past-life experiences or injuries are affecting the present life as these can be healed through an etheric blueprint.
